A question for bairdi keepers...

My field guide shows a bairdi (supposedly a comparative
size pic) that is noticeably larger than a cornsnake. However, the sizes listed are similar. I'm kinda confused about what I should expect from my bairdi, since I haven't seen in any guides that they get too large, but people have told me that they can push 6'. Whats the real deal?
