Last month there were alot of diversity there. Lots of different rat snakes, racers, cape gophers, corns, hognose, boas, pythons, lots of different lizzards, turtles, and frogs. It has grown quite a bit since it started, and I look for it to be even bigger next summer. Overall it is a nice show, and Shelbeyville is not a huge place. The route to the show is well marked from the interstate all the way to the show, and the people Ive met there have all been super friendly. So if you plan on going, maybe you will get to meet a few of us that frequent these forums. I will be there and most likely hanging out by Dwights table for a while. (and keeping a close watch on my wallet!!) I could have easily spent more last month than I did, just glad I had only taken a set amount to spend!! Whew!! Dang these snakes are addictive!! LOL

:I saw the post from Dwight about an event. Then did a mapquest search. It will be a 320 mile drive. Is the event big enough to be worth that drive? I have never been to any snake show/ event.
:Any other suggestions for a good event to attend?
