:Just looking for a little advice. I have had this pair for about a year and kept them out of hibernation last year. All my other colubrids have had their last meals and are getting ready to be cooled. I have been told that ridleyi should not be cooled down but a friend of mine says that he does. What the word on the street? Thanks for all your help. DAVE
Hi Dave,
I'm in the same boat as you are LOL! There's a lot of conflicting information out there, and people aren't jumping at the chance to share reproductive info about ridleyi, for some reason.
I have a pair of adults which bred successfully this year for their previous owner. He told me that he actually cooled them to about 60 degrees F. for a couple of months. So, that's what I'm going to try.
I really like your opening page for your web-site by the way.
Please feel free to e-mail me, if you like.
Cheers
Simon
