No it was a bigger rock and I accidently dropped it, breaking it in half. The container is a plastic tub I use to feed my snakes in, and use it to take pics as well. I put the rock in there in an effort to get a nicer than normal generic pic. Didnt work as well as I had hoped, but good enough. Need a bigger rock and a bigger tub, but Im not gonna carry a bigger rock up from the creek just for pics!!! LOL
:Did you cut out the rock to fit the bottom of that container. I can't tell if it's an aquarium or a clear plastic tub. That looks cool, but you're right, it would be heavy as crap.

::Its a big chunk of fossilized crinoid columns. They are everywhere here in Kentucky. You can find them in any of the creeks and highway cuts. I found these on my father in laws property in hardin county. I just thought they would look neat as a back drop, but couldnt get the snake to stay still long enough, and I didnt feel like carrying a 50+lb rock that was bigger than this one.

::::He is from Dwight Good and growing like a weed.

::::These are from today, and if you look at the last picture, you can see he has gotten darker orange. I thought he would lighten up, guess I will just have to wait and see. Although I would like him to stay darker.

::::This was taken the day I got him. I think he was right at a month old at that point.
