Are all Trans-pecos this bug-eyed?

Not having seen that many trans-pecos rat snakes in real life, I was wondering if the snake in this photo was typical looking, or if it was exhibiting the dreaded "bug-eyed" syndrome. Maybe trans-pecos rats are naturally more "bug-eyed" than others, but I don't recall ever having noticed it before.

I was struck with the uncanny resemblance of the snake with the deceased british actor Marty Feldmen, and I mentioned in a prior post. If I owned that snake, I would definitely name it Marty.
