I agree. Few people could afford the high price tag they demanded when they were available. I'm not sure how many are working with them now. I am sure there's a few around. I think Glen and Nancy may have produced a clutch this year, and you could check with Rex Knight at [ratsnakes.com]. He has some pics of them at least.

With so few people working with this exotic beauty, there has undoubtedly been some problems. They produce very small clutches and can be somewhat difficult to care for, needing a quite humid environment. Although other snakes have some of these problems, the bamboos are an expensive experiment which few can risk, so they are hard to market.

I think there's still some people that would work with them if and when they are more affordable. Good luck finding them and let us know how you do. TC.
