Ok, I just returned from the Denver Zoo where I was lucky enough to be shown their newly hatched baby black Jansen's Rat Snakes. I can't believe what I saw! Silly me - I did not bring a camera but I will go back by the end of the week and snap a photo or two to post here. Sorry to be so cryptic (and a tease) but are you guys aware of what baby black janseni look like?! By the way, their female is just about to lay her third clutch of the season!
