I have just received the below E Mail from someone who signed the message as
Clare Raynor, has 'rah' as the 'from' field in Outlook Express and yet has
the name Steve in their E Mail address. You will see my reply to
him/her/it.
Has anyone else received a similar type of thing? Please feel free to send
your own messages to this freak. It's E Mail address is ..

It's message.....
Dear Sir,
I would like to start by saying how glad I was to find your site, and
someone who will finally speak up about how dangerous reptiles can be. It
made me cry to hear of your sons misfortune !
I have written a letter to my local paper telling them of what happened in
the hope that people will realise how wrong it is to keep wild animals like
snakes , especially where children may come into contact with them !
It is the aim of my friends and I to try and stop these disgusting animals
from coming into contact with the general public. If people must see them
then it should at least be in a zoo.
I hope that your story will let people see what a hazard these beasts are
and we can stop people from having anything to do with them, and closing
shops like the one you mentioned down.
This article will bring us one step closer to television air time, and an
even wider audience, once people hear of a snake savagely attacking a child,
their support in our cause will rapidly follow. Hopefully we will soon have
a reptile free Britain !
I hope I can count on your further support.
Yours Sincerely
Claire Raynor

my reply.
I cannot believe you sent me this E Mail. Clare Raynor YEAH RIGHT. Why is
Steve in your E Mail address. Who is 'rah'. Too scared to put your real
name, no doubt!
You have obviously not read my site at all. I keep Reptiles (Snakes) and
enjoy them just as much as my dogs. You have no right whatsoever to tell me
what I can and cannot keep as a pet. SNAKES ARE NOT DANGEROUS WHEN HANDLED,
HOUSED AND TREATED CORRECTLY. The incident to my son only happened because
we were inexperienced in handling these types of snakes.
Anyway, my son has his OWN snake which he loves very much. We always watch
him handle it, I am always right next to him. He is not scared of it and
being bitten, has not put him off at all !!!!!
People like you, quite frankly, make me sick. Just because you are probably
scared of snakes, have never handled them, and don't know the first thing
about them, you want to stop millions of people around the world from
keeping them as pets. If you get TV air time, I would gladly stand up and
defend the keeping of snakes.
