Thanks for the info--might come in handy. But may I suggest another option for the resulting mixture? I just wormed five wild caught Pituophis with fenbendazole 10% 25 gram paste that is NOT water soluble. Let me cut to the chase--you'll have to figure out your own method for getting the correct dosage--I am not a vet and won't offer that advice.
I cut the skin and then the muscle wall above the brest bone on large dead adult mice, inserted a tube with attached syringe and squirted a close dosage--fenbenzadole has some leeway, I used the lower dosage--into the body cavities. Pulled the muscle back over the incision, pulled the skin back over the muscle, let the mice sit for a half-hour then fed it to the Pits.
You might try a similar approach as a normal course of feeding additives to your snakes. Mix up your additive and inject it INTO the dead mice. Should work but I haven't tried that yet. Might make it a once a month regimen for prevention, however.
