They hatch at about 11" to 13" inches, 14" isn't unknown. Thet first shed is at seven to twelve days old, usually eight or nine days. Average growth when they're feeding reliably, is about 1.5" to 2.0" per month, although some will do 2.5" or better.
Your baby is probably about four to six weeks old, possibly younger.

:I found a Black Rat today that is about 14 inches long. And it had just shed it's skin, because the skin was lying beside it. How old do you think this snake is? How old are they when they have their first shed?
