I checked Ohio's 2002 regs tonight and found out that w/c Eastern fox snakes are off limits, even to native Ohioans. I believe they can possess CB Easterns, if they have documentation of the purchase, and can buy a permit to breed them, but Eastern fox snakes are off limits to anyone to capture from the wild. That makes them protected throughout their entire range. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
