Hi, I have a very special glades rat that had litters of 41 and 32 for me this year already and though I havent fed her at all in more than 2 weeks I think she is heavy with eggs again. While I am by no means TRYING for any records(lol)she is showing NO ill affects of this and her "condition" may make egg laying that much less a burden. She has some kind of condition that keeps her from shedding AT ALL during the year...except for pre-laying sheds. I figure all the calcium used to produce keratin for skin must be turned into egg material. She is amazing and if anyone has any ideas as far as her "condition" feel free to throw out some hypotheses. Thanks,Jeff
