You also may want to try a "split head" . If you take a dead pinky and make a small hole in its head to let some brain matter come out, the increase in smell may do the trick. I use paper bags (small lunch bags) and leave the snake and pinky in there over night. Keep the bag in the snakes cage in case he gets out. Leaving it i htere overnight will give the snake time to settle down. I would also wait a day or two before trying this because I do have a few animals that don't seem interested in anything right after a shed.

PS When the correct routine works, keep with the same routine so the snake creates a feeding response. When I put mine in paper bags, they know foods coming next. good luck
