I have a Taiwan I got from Zerkle reptiles. Maybe I'm lucky, but he's never been a biter (I think I get lucky a lot, I also own a laidback kingsnake!). He is very fast, though, and he often gets tangled in furniture when we're just trying to handle him. He's really cool, though. They grow very fast, mine was born in '01 and is about 4 feet long. A 40 breeder should last you about 2 years. I've heard they can get 10 feet long! Their care is just about identical to that of the American ratsnakes, and mine seems very hardy.
