I just hatched a batch, but my advice might sound a bit too simple. Bare in mind that I've only breed them once so far. I keep my pair separate at all times. I introduced my male to my female's cage (a largish rubbermaid with very basic furnishings) and let them there for about 48 hours. No breeding activity whatsoever was observed during this time. About 21/2 months later she laid 9 eggs of which one never veined up. The other 8 hatched after 65 days at a mean incubation temp of 81 F. The adults' were kept at a more or less constant 78 F. The breeding female is 21/2 years old. No spraying or cooling period was done.
Hope this helps,
Phil
