Hey,
I have 3 yearling obsoleta: 2 black and a greenish. The female, an albino black rat has significantly slowed down her eating schedule, while both males rarely if ever refuse a meal.
She will now go 2 weeks or more between meals. They are kept under identical conditions. She still seems healthy and active, although the males are certainly passing her up in size and weight. Is this typical...for the females to cut back their intake before the males? Or is it just individual differences? Or...should I be trying more creative methods of getting my female to eat at least one a week? I'm ok with her growing at a modest pace, I just don't want her to waste away. Thanks. Duffy
