:Me thinks that this is more a color morph than true subspecies. I have caught both yellow and orange "everglades" in Dade county. They meet the tongue test but had very faint stripeing. The ones here in central Fl tend to be yellowish but I've caught orange ones with dark stripes. You might try the back roads around the homestead airport in the east everglades to find the everglades morphs.
