: I am going to get a L.T.R.S. in a couple of days and I had a few questions.
: 1)Are they usually nippy, agressive,or mean?
: 2)What should the day and night temp be in the cage?
: 3)Are they constricters?
: 4)How big of cage is needed for a 5 foot long rat snake?
: Thanx a lot.
some are snippy, a lot of them tame down. Mine is pretty tame and I rarely handle him. I keep him at about 80-85 day/ room temp at night. I've kept him in a variety of different cages, any where from 3 ft long tank, to the 65 qt. rubbermaid that he's in now. Keep it dry! keep the moisture and humidity down.
