Young male Russians seem to be picky eaters. Mine did skip every second and third meal. It ate abuut once every 14 days. It did eat so I was not to worried about that. When it grew somewhat bigger it started to eat a littlebit more but still skips a meal every now and then. I would not worry about it too much. Make sure the cag eis not too warm. Russians don't stand temps over 25 degrees .

:I have a pair of russian rats, one eats fine the other refuses more than one small pinky per week.I believe the male is the one that does not eat well.Is this normal? Is there some other item I should be offering for food?Should I be housing them differently? This is extremely frustrating!
