I love climacophora and used to produce one to two dozen per year back in 1994-1998. Back then people used to distinguish between the Kunashiri form and the mainland form, but today it seems the two are pretty intermixed.
These are Kunasir Island form, I like the colours. Though I wouldn't mind seeing some of the striped form as well...
I stopped working with them in late 1998 or so and just recently caught the climacophora bug again. I'm now working with the "Shirohebi" (amelanistic) form.
Oooh, sounds like fun. Here in BC, mine are the only ones I know of, so it's kind of lonely working with them. But they're beautiful snakes to keep! I really enjoy them
