I lived in south FL until a few years ago and I live in central FL now. You can still find quadrivittata in that area that have a strong rossalleni influence but I think "pure" glades are practically non-existant due to intergrading between the two. You're likely to find some really attractive yellows that have nice orange coloration.
Where I live now, the quadrivittata look very different. They have almost a olive tint to their yellow and very dark, pronounced stripes.
Here's one of my rossalleni (produced by Jim Demirjian). Pure glades or intergrade...not really sure, but I think it's a great looking snake.
Good luck,
Chris Raden
: You can go to cornutopia.com and read how they have been looking for them for a long time (not sure on the dates). But I think they mention some areas where you acn look.
:Good luck

::I am interested in finding rossalleni in the wild. All the information I have seen lately says there rarer now. Does anyone know where nice ones can still be found in the wild? I don't buy this about the Yellow Rat replacing it. I can't see why Yellow Rats would be more succesful in altered farm country habitat than the Everglades Rat. Also there is still large areas of suitable habitat left in the Everglades and Big Cypress. Thanks for any advise or information, I will be going to south Florida soon.
