Not really,they are a tropical species,just don't add any heat to their cage set up,they breed all year round,I'm expecting eggs any day now from my hetero for albino radiata,although I let the nightime temps drop alittle to about76-78 F.,with daytime temps up to mid 80's,GOOD LUCK!Dave
