I have a pair of Bajas that I'm going to attempt to breed this year for the first time. The only feeding problems I have run into is getting the male to eat frozen mice. Other than that, they seem to be slow growers, and the person I bought them from said you can't feed them heavy because they are prone to regurgitating. Mine haven't ever regurgitated, but then again I took his advice and haven't fed them real heavily.
I think their lack of popularity may be due to its rather drab coloring as an adult, coupled with a fairly high price (for an unpatterned, brown snake!). Mine are still slightly irridescent so I'm hoping the offspring will be really nice!
