I kept & bred them for about three years after raising them. They were the fastest growing snake I ever raised - seemed to get bigger with every meal.
I treated them like my other colubrids. As adults they were out of sweater boxes ( heat tape ) and into floor cages with incadesant bulbs for heat.
No problems with them at all ; feeding , temperment, beauty . I was getting clutches of five to seven eggs. The shells are the thickest and toughest of any snake I've delt with and I was cutting windows in them as soon as I saw the first one pip.
One thing I noticed with mine that you should remember when you do yours ... unklike all my other egg layers , the fresei would go through two sheds before laying the eggs, though appearing ready to lay after the first one.
The first time it had me really concerned about being egg bound , except they huge, aggressive appetite was still there.
Hope this helps .
I've noticed here that alot questions go un-answered if they are of 'Real' snakes , like your fresei , ridleyi , Baja rats, etc. At least some of the Gonysoma people are getting it together, here with good info exchanged.
I guess with most it has to be the newest , muti flecked -zig-zag zipper - bubble gum - star burst cross between eight species to generate any interest.
