Thanks for the info. I don't doubt you at all. I have seen way too much variation in KY obseleta to doubt for a minute that tons of morphs could appear. I am not a papered herper, and I am proud of it. I have no fear of morphs. In fact I love them, and I couldn't care less where those snakes come from, I like them. That is my approach to breeding period. If I like it I keep it and it's origins amount to a hill of beans to me. It is the animal in my hands that means something to me, not it's pedigree. If I wanted pedigree, I'd breed dogs. I do know what is required for "the papered people" to accept stuff, and it is unfortunate in my opinion that so much hype is given to papers, which as you point out can easily be faked, as can comprehensive DNA testing. I would like to see DNA comparison and scale counts just to silence the naysayers. It wont change my opinion of the snakes one way or the other. I mean, hey, a hot snake is a hot snake, right?
