:Ok I havent posted once to this but with the controversy(Sp?) going on I must add in. The local name should be dropped by all means,But I myself believe this animal to be true,If you look at it by the coloration is looks like a piebald of some sort, yes i do agree that until there has been a scale count and dna test it is hard to believe. But dna tests would be far out of reach for this sort of thing, there have been other weird "morphs" found and they were never tested either because dna testing is usually very costly and unless you own the equipment or know someone it is mostly out of the question so breeding, isolating and taking a scale count of it would be the best things to do at the current moment. You cannot just throw the possibility that this is a possibly new morph, weirder things have happened! But yes i agree that there is no proof it is a native to KY. For some reason around that area it seems species inner breed more that other areas IMO, But i agree there is a possibility that some one is making hybrids and other morphs and releasing them, but that would be the world dumbest fool. Maybe "pet" snakes that have escaped have inner bred and now weird mutations are abound. whatever it may be, it is truely intresting for sure! CC
