This is a beautiful snake. What you have here is the high coloring found in many Ky obseleta combined with the melanin reduction that is found in grey rats. This whole population, if they are coming from one locality, represent a very variable gene pool where grey, yellow and black ancestroal genetics are in play. This snake may darkenen as it grows. How long is it now?Brian
