I would appreciate any husbandry info on your mandarin ratsnakes. What temps, humidity, humidity boxes and do you use any heat tape? Any part of this info would be great.
I know most people dont use any heat tape but I have talked to two successful reproducers of them this year that do use heat tape.
I have heard the sichuan variety I got like a little more heat than some other mandarins.
Many people use humidity boxes with spagnum moss in them but I wonder if they are kept in a rack system (not the open top type like freedom breeder)with a large water bowl if the humidity level wouldnt be high enough without one.
I know I am in the right ball park but the more info on such a awesome species the better.Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Randy Whittington
