Thanks, and yep it is a male and I hope he grows into a whopper. Might be a good loaner for a breeder at some point if he turns out to be a big boy. He has really put on the girth in the last 3 or 4 months. I bet this time next year he will be quite a bit bigger.
:Very nice! It always seemed to me that black rats really start putting the girth on at around 4'. I would say with that kind of growth in the first year, your snake should grow into a whopper, especially if its a male.I did have a 6' female once though.
