What I have done in the past with snakes that didnt like the soaking, was use a damp lukewarm washcloth and let the snake crawl through it a few times. This almost always works for snakes with a partial shed. Just hold the washcloth in one hand and when the snake crawls through your hand, lightly hold onto the snake with the washcloth. You may have to re-wet the washcloth a couple of times, just make sure its not too hot or too cold. Pretty easy and quick way to help ease the old skin off and clean the snake off at the same time.

:My vietnamese blue has a bad shed, so I soaked him. but when I put him in the water he just freaked, he opened his mouth real wide, and just started wriggling all over the place. then when I took him out of the water he was fine, how should I keep this from happening .
