Yes, we probably do need to see the snake in person. Since I cannot, what it appears to be in the picture is an extremely light suboc. Maybe it could be called a hypo-axanthic, having lower than normal amounts of yellow pigmentation. Yes, the normal suboc pattern has already been produced along with the axanthic bloodline (It is still quite rare). I have only seen photographs of hatchling normal patterned axanthic subocs, so I do not know what an adult would look like.
