Was Andrew's the one with Bearded Dragons? If you can remember what he had, I could probably remember him.
Anyway, yeah, Don had at least 3 ambers-2 males and 1 female, but the one he'd pulled out was for me. It sure is a pretty little thing. The female was much yellower though, and I was tempted to grab her instead.
I wonder if I was standing next to you.
I was holding at least 1 child at the time with another running around at my feet. : )
Talk about a pain. My eldest daughter is only 2 and she loves the animals but gets tired of the shows quickly and any large open space like that is a racetrack for her. It was fun, though, and was the largest I've been to.
Good job, Houston. Its about the only reason (besides passing through) that I want to come there.
Maybe we'll meet some other time. I'd love to come swamp herping down there. I've gone canoing in the bayous in LA before I was into herps and saw tons of wildlife. My wife even likes swamp canoing. She was leaning OUT of the canoe about a foot from an 8 foot 'gator to photograph it. That was before she knew they could jump. Scared me to death.
