Today is my first post to this forum and I must say I am really impressed with how fast and great you all are with help. If this little guy I have truely is an albino yellow ratsnake, then they are great - he is as gentle as any of our corns and gorgeous. I would love to get another, but he is the only albino I have seen in many years here.
I would love to see more photos - hope you can post some, I did it for the first time tonight and it worked!!

:I only got into rats seriously last year and was constantly tugging at Dwight's ear about ALOT of things. SO FAR, he has been right on with just about everything I have heard him say(except on donating a certain milksnake to science!!). We can feel fortunate enough that despite lowering his profile he continues to be a big part of this community. And as far as ALBINO YELLOWS, I can only wish we had more interest/breeders with these because there is alot of work to be done in figuring these out and we dont have the numbers that cornsnake people do to test theories. Right now there are Blotchless glades that COULD be tested as far as the albino theory. My "new" albinos seem to not only retain their juvenile pattern but that pattern may well be DOMINANT-related to these genes as the "hets"all retain pattern SO FAR. One of these days I will learn how to post pics directly by myself and then you will be seeing far too many pics of my ratsnakes, lol. Until then, always keep them wanting more, lol,Jeff
