:WOW Chris - your snakes are lovely. My male is is bit more distinct in a stiped pattern with white between the faint orange lines. Maybe once I can get a camera I can post a picture. When did the juvenile pattern disappear? - I am tring to estimate age - my guy is about 2.5 feet, but I think he has been limit fed until now, his head seems disproportionately large.

Mary,
I purchased both of mine as yearlings and they had already lost their juvenile pattern. Did you purchase yours from a breeder that might be able to share some info regarding it's age and origin? It is possible that you may have a hybrid but it's hard to say without a photo. Normal yellow ratsnakes can be variable in appearance so it makes sense that albinos would be as well. Try to post a photo and someone should be able to identify what you have. The important thing is that you like it :)
