Where would one find snake eggs in the wild? All this talk about snake eggs hatching on this forum leads me to believe that there should be some eggs around here about now. My black rat snake was found in the basement of my house early this spring and was hatchling size so must have come in last fall and over wintered there. I suspect he would have hatched close to or in the house. I would like to find some eggs to watch hatch, but do not know where to look for them.
