I also think it's a nice pic, Adam. I used to keep these, but gave them up for Russian rats, instead, which I think is a similar species of Eurasian rat, and one of my favorites. I had no trouble with adult E. q. sauromates eating or care. I just liked the overall appearance and personality of the Russians, better. Good luck with the sauromates. Terry C.
: Just wanted to see who's working with these and the luck they've had. I like them a lot and I'm not sure why there's a lack in popularity. I've found them very easy to work with and to have a great temperment this ssp. also maintains the juvenile pattern which I find much more attractive. Please feel free to ad any info you would like.
