I think your question is geared to a w/c being imported or collected in the U. S. and is gravid at the time. Some of us that collect a few breeder and/or buy snakes that have been imported always feel it's an added bonus if the female is gravid at the time. If the snake is too heavily parasitized in the wild and gets gravid this could have some effect I suppose on the egg. I don't know this for sure. Most of us that buy imported or collect some of our snakes spend the time and money to have them checked and proper care is taken to make and keep them healthy. My female spilotes is a w/c from Honduras and the male is a captive born of a w/c. Both have been checked and I've made sure they are healthy. If she gets gravid next year and the offspring will be f1, I feel they will be coming from healthy snakes and the babies should not have any problems passed on from one or both of the parents that would be related to parasites or illness. There could always be something passed on from the genes as is the case in all births. Just my thoughts.
