: I have new rat snake (2 or 3 months) that was purchased as a "Domestic Rat Snake"...I'm having trouble finding a picture on the web to match so I can figure out what kind of rat he is so I can take care of him properly. Right now he is in a 10gal tank, with undertank heating & incandescent light 12 hours on 12 off. The temp is holding steady on warm side at 85. I would like to know about humidity levels. He has eaten once for us - a frozen pinkie mouse which I take as a good sign! His background color is light brown with darker brown patches on top & smaller brown on sides. No stripes on head or body, only irregular spots on head.
: Anybody know what he is??
: Thanx
Pictures are very necessary but I think it could only be a Texas rat snake EOB
