Thanks for the compliment. Actually, seeing your locality pics is the reason I posted mine up again.
I collected a nice 3' black rat from McClean County this summer that is a real screamer---insomuch as a WC can be a screamer (i.e. no glo-in-the-dark colors or blinking neon). He has a very well defined "guttata-like" pattern. I'll get some pics of him posted up soon.
Since you liked the others, here are a couple snaps of some North Christian County neonate black rats from last summer. I didn't collect either of these little guys, but I had to get some snaps. Again, the picture quality leaves something to be desired, but I think you can get the general idea.
I have lots more where these came from. Perhaps we could get together off the fourm and trade some pictures and stories from one Kentucky herper to another.
