Don't try to pull the eggs apart. The vermiculite is good, cover the eggs until the top ones are about half covered.Make sure the vermiculite is moist but not wet there should be enough air to reach the bottom ones as vermiculite is very porous make sure it is not packed tight.Make sure the container has air holes in it.
