I have noticed 2 different Beauty snakes I have passing strange stools in their water bowls. After they poop there is greasy looking stuff floating in the top of the water. It looks just like grease pools floating in the top of a bowl of home made chili. It is very hard to rinse out just like real grease. They are both fed top quality thawed rodents. I am pretty sure neither has any type of parasites. They are both long term captive bred snakes and appear totally healthy. One is a female Moquards beauty snake who layed 12 fertile eggs this year. The other is a Blue beauty male who fathered 13 fertile eggs this year. The picture is of the Moquards beauty. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas? I have not observed this in any other species. Thanks, Randy Whittington
