Every once in a while my WC black rat will regurgitate what looks like a slimy "deflated" mouse hide a day or so after he eats. Of course it's all nasty and gross looking, but it appears to be only 10-20% of the original weight/volume of the mouse. I can only assume then than the remaining 80% of the mouse didn't melt or evaporate, so therefore must have remained within the snake. I know people freak out when their snake regurgitates, but does it necessarily have to be a bad thing? Especially when the snake appears otherwise healthful, and it only happens occasionally.
