Two of the goals of the new system are to:
#1 Reduce "spam" by eliminating the harvesting of our forums for addresses
#2 Reduce virus loads such as sircam and klez that harvest
email addresses from our forums
If you post your email address in your message you will cicumvent
that system.
While the new system won't stop your spam and viruses today, over the next 6 months
it will reduce it.
Now that the system is in place we can add many new features
that can eliminate some of your concerns, but for now we need
to verify that the system is solidly functioning before
we add more bells and whistles.
