Hello,
I wanted to ask you all, whether you have perhaps tips how I can keep some wc alive from mandarina. Since arrival on Tuesday 3 animals have already died and some look so, as if they soon die. I have procured for me a wide volume antibiotic which must be given with 5 mg/kg oral. This medicament is relatively unknown, although it is very good. I could already achieve with my WC Yellowtail cribos very good results with it. Itīs name is Marbocyl, the active substance is Marbofloxacin. I become this medicament from today, for next 10 days give oral with catheter to the stomage. To get a grip on the Dehydration, I will touch the antibiotic (powder form) with a glucose mixture. So the snakes get 1. antibiotic and 2. at the same moment liquids agrees against Dehydration. As a ground reason I have filled peat and out of the medicament gifts I leave the animals in peace. Every snake sits separately in a Flatbox with peat and a water dish. The peat is approx. 5 cm high, so that the animals can bury themselves. As fast as I have fecs tests for analyses, I begin then, after the gift of the antibiotic, with the treatment of the parasites. What can I still do apart from that, so that the animals have a chance of survival? I would be glad about helpful tips or also criticism very much.
I also have 1,1 WC Elaphe porphyracea, which I must treat the same way.
Many greetings from germany
Juergen
