As I mentioned before in my previous post, my female everglades laid 4 duds about 3 weeks ago. Now as I run my fingers down her torso, I can feel and see 4 more eggs. The 2 closest to the vent stretch out the skin while the other 2 can be felt more than actually seen. My question is...Can the first set of eggs be the first clutch and now the second 4 eggs another clutch and not be eggs binding?. She appears fine and acts normal. She crawls around and eats fine. I have reduced the size of her meals from mice to 2-3 large fuzzies instead as it seems to be less stressfull and dangerous to her. Can she be an egg factory, laying and producing eggs kind of like an assembly line??, one goes out and another starts to grow. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated as she is very pretty and is just about missing the two lines from the yellow rat side of the family making her solid orange almost.
As a last resort what drug is used to induce labor and how much is administered.
