I thought I had 2 males! When I first got them, I was told that I had a male and female. They had been cooled and they were ready to breed. So I put them together and then seperated them a week later. (I thought that they were irritated with each other or something) Then I took my "Female" to the vet and after probing he said it was a male. So I thought I had 2 males. Well my "Male" surprised me with eggs this morning. She has had 8 so far and is still laying. I have never had snake eggs before and I was hoping someone could help me. I have an aquarium set up with 2 bricks in the bottom. I filled up the tank with water til it reached the top of the bricks. There is an aquarium heater in the bottom that is warming the water. I have a plastic tuppaware dish that is filled with a mixture of dirt and moss (And is moistened) the dirt is the kind that you get at the Pet Stores that when you add water to, it expands. (I forgot what it is called) How warm should the water be? I can find sites on incubating Corn snake eggs, should I use that? Does everything sound OK? What else should I do? If I knew that they weren't fertile, I would have thrown them away, but there is a chance that they are, so I want to do everything I possibly can to at least hatch out a few. How long is the incubation period? I had found lots of info on this and had saved it on my computer, then I had gotten problems, and had to completely reboot my comp and I losst info. (My dad forgot to ask if I wanted to save anything before he shut the comp down :( Sorry this is so long and thank you SSSOOOO much for ANY info!!!!! Also, when there is eggs stuck together, you leave them just like that, right?
