Don't feed it too soon because it needs to build stomac fluids. If you feed to soon you will cause regurge syndrome.
I wouild also suggest to feed very small items. Bairdy's are nest raiders. They will take multiple smaller items. Better to feed two pinkies instead of one hopper. ;-)
