I've heard that temp on the lower end of the scale, rather than higher, tends to produce healthier babies. I usually keep the incubator about 80 to 84 deg., and don't panic if it drops as low as 78. I consider 86 deg to be the absolute upper limit. Agreed about the high humidity, just make sure that the eggs aren't so wet that they "drown".
I also agree 100% with the comments about the lovely babies that Dwight Good produces. Some day, I hope to obtain at least a couple of babies from him.
