: I don`t have any egg bound females right now, but would like to know just in case and beforehand some details and your opinion on this treatment for dystocia. I do realize that that is not a good choice when multiple eggs are retained as well as risk and danger this method can present, nevertheless I had lost in the past a couple of my kings and milks bound with the only one and just recently my Rhino female fortunately saved herself and hopefully her reproductive ability too being able to get rid of a small, hard slug after several meals and 2 defecations after oviposition. I live in Ukraine where herpers are not that numerous so there are no any herp vets over here, but nevermind, this is a good topic to discuss anyway.
: Could this treatment be done by an experienced breeder and keeper or the herp related vet is the only choice? Should it be accompanied by any kind of anasthesy, further antibiotic injections to avoid possible peritonitis? Any other details you could provide? Best regards.

: P.D. I hope my English doesn`t suck too much, my apologies for any mistake.
