I have read in REPTILE HOBBYIST's diadem article that they do hibernate for 2-3 months. Try e-mailing Great Valley; they breed diadems (that's where I bought my trio) and they are very good about answering questions. You can find the link in KINGSNAKE.com's "breeders" section.
